Slabs of the Tabernacle 005 @ The Twisted Wheel
Saturday 6th September
22.30-03.00
£6 Entry

MARK DU MOSCH
RESIDENTS (ANDREW INGRAM, BRIAN d’SOUZA, HOBBES)

Already at our fifth event, we have hosted Scottish debuts for a number of artists such as The Third Man (ai Records), UK italo pioneer Casionova (Magic Waves, Cyber Dance Records, Dissident) and Mills sound-alike Hek (Rehab, Liverpool). We are now looking further afield by inviting across Rotterdam’s Mark du Mosch (Moustache Records) to make his first ever UK appearance.

As soon as we heard his first record “Let It Go” in 2006 on Keynote, Mark became the prime target on the Slabs radar. He makes music that belongs on another galaxy, melodies that sound like they were crafted on the moon, layered with deep spacey synth swooshes that will illuminate any dancefloor.

Space helmets at the ready for a DJ set that will explore the realms of disco, italo, house, techno and beyond…

Saturday 3rd April
23.00-03.00
£8 Entry (£10 after 12am)

Tevo Howard (Beautiful Granville Records, Hour House Is Your Rush Records – Chicago)

Slabs of the Tabernacle reaches it’s second birthday and to celebrate we have a DJ set from Chicago born and raised Tevo Howard.

Very much in the spotlight at the moment, with some meaty releases on Hour House Is Our Rush Records and his own label Beautiful Granville Records, he is still pushing that classic Chicago sound in a really sweet way that has captivated house heads, old and new.

Tevo has been DJing about The Windy City since 1987 at the age of 13 and we’re looking forward to an intimate party set of all-things-Chicago. Hope you can join us.
